"TA DAAAAA" Here is the news everyone in Mineral County has been waiting on.....

The funds raised for our county volunteers in Search & Rescue, EMS, and the Fire Department at our recent bi-annual dinner and auction in Creede came in a few dollars above $90,000 - a record.

After expenses, FOMCES is distributing $85,115 - a record - to these three groups. THANK YOU Creede and Mineral County and all the workers, citizens, and visitors who helped make this happen. These funds will go to buying needed equipment and paying for on-going training. We all benefit from the life saving services these volunteers provide our community! Remember - It's not the cost of the item in our auctions, but the value of the life saving service!"
